Gradings for every coloured belt
Small groups will be asked to step forward, called up by name, and asked to perform certain tasks on command that would be required to pass the grading. Grading groups will be categorised by rank, earlier ranks being called up first (10th Kup being the first for example).
Each grading will be progressive, meaning that more will be expected from a person as they progress through Gradings.

-10th Kup - 9th Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 10th Kup to 9th Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: Horse riding stance, long walking stance, guarding stance.
Hand Techniques: Low block, Middle block, High block, Middle and High punches.
Kicking: Front kick and High rising kick from a long stance position. Half turning kick, Full turning kick and Axe kick moving forward.
Poomsae: Kibon il (basic one)
Sparring: 1-1 Kicking
Must be able to perform: 15 press-ups, 30 star jumps.
Theory: To be able to count to 10 in Korean will be beneficial.
-9th Kup - 8th Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 9th Kup to 8th Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: Horse riding stance, long stance, guarding stance.
Hand Techniques: Low block, middle block, inward block, high block. Middle and high punches.
Kicking: Half turning kick, full turning kick and axe kick moving forward. Fast kick and 1-step turning kick against a pad.
Poomsae: Kibon il (basic one), il jang
Sparring: 1-1 Kicking
Must be able to perform: 15 press-ups, 30 star jumps.

-8th Kup - 7th Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 8th Kup to 7th Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: Back stance, long stance.
Hand Techniques: Low knife-hand block, middle knife-hand block, high knife-hand block. Low, middle, high blocks with punch combinations.
Kicking: Half turning kick x2, full turning kick combination. Back kick, fast kick against pad.
Poomsae: Il jang, ye jang.
Sparring: Freestyle, 1 step (Hanbon Gyorugi)
Must be able to perform: 15 press-ups, 30 start jumps, 6 burpies.

-7th Kup - 6th Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 7th Kup to 6th Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: Back stance, long walking stance (exchanging stances).
Hand Techniques: Double middle and double high knife-hand blocks, middle and high punches.
Kicking: All you know.
Combination Kicking/Spacific: 2 feet alternate kick (from front foot), half turning kick - axe kick, step in back kick. All against pad
Poomsae: Sam jang, ye jang
Sparring: 1-1 kicking, freestyle, 1-step.
Must be able to perform: 15 press-ups, 30 start jumps, 8 burpies.

-6th Kup - 5th Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 6th Kup to 4th Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: All stances from previous gradings.
Hand Techniques: Side punch, arc-hand kneck strike. Low, middle and high double knife-hand blocks.
Kicking: All known
Combination Kicking/Spacific: Fast kick combinations against pad.
Poomsae: Sah jang, sam jang, ye jang.
Sparring: 1-1 kicking, freestyle, 1-step.
Must be able to perform: 20 press-ups, 30 star jumps, 8 burpies.

-5th Kup - 4th Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 5th Kup to 4th Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: All stances from previous gradings.
Hand Techniques: All blocks and punches.
Kicking: Wide veriety must be demonstrated.
Combination Kicking/Spacific: Fast kick - half turning kick, half turning kick - back kick, 2 feet alternate kick - axe kick.
Poomsae: Oh jang, sah jang.
Sparring: 1-1 kicking, fresstyle, 1-step
Must be able to perform: 20 press-ups, 30 start jumps, 8 burpies.
Theory: *TO BE DESIGNATED*
-4th Kup - 3rd Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 4th Kup to 3rd Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: All from previous gradings.
Hand Techniques: All blocks, punches, strikes.
Kicking: Wide veriety mucst be desplayed.
Poomsae: Yuk jang, oh jang, sah jang.
Combination Kicking/Spacific: Fast kick - half turning kick - counter half turning kick x2, tornado kick, half turning kick - back kick, reverse turning kick. All against pad.
Sparring: 1-1 kicking, freestyle sparring, 1-step.
Must be able to perform: 10 knucle press-ups (or 20 normal depending on age), 10 burpies, 45 second plank.

-3rd Kup - 2nd Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 3rd Kup to 2nd Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: All in previous gradings, tiger stance.
Hand Techniques: All in previous gradings, scissor punch, wedging block, upper-cut.
Kicking: Wide veriety of attacking and counter-attacking kicking.
Combination Kicking/Spacific: Freestyle pad kicking.
Poomsae: Chill jang, yuk jang, oh jang.
Sparring: Freestle sparring, 1-step
Must be able to perform: Shuttle-run task, 10 knuck press-ups (or 20 normal depending on age), 10 burpies, 45 second plank.

-2nd Kup - 1st Kup:
In order to successfully grade from 2nd Kup to 1st Kup, the following must be demonstrated:
Stances: All.
Hand Techniques: All.
Kicking: Wide veriety of attacking and counter-attacking kicking.
Poomsae: Pal jang, Examiners choice x2
Combination Kicking/Spacific: Examiners choice.
Sparring: Freestyle sparring, 2v1 freestyle sparring, 1-step.
Must be able to perform: Vigorous physical exercises.
